Nour Emam is leading a femtech company called Motherbeing, which is attempting the unthinkable: talking about sex online, in Arabic, to fill a multi-generational knowledge gap. Sex education in Egypt is almost non-existent, with couples young and old left to navigate the complexities of sex, pleasure and reproduction in the dark. Using Instagram, TikTok and podcasts, Motherbeing delivers unfiltered sex education to more than 3.1 million followers.
