All-new Nissan LEAF review--MORE OF EVERYTHING

The Nissan LEAF is the best selling electric car of all time, selling almost 300,000 copies worldwide so far. The second generation 2018 Nissan LEAF has more range at 241km, a bigger battery, more power at 147hp and more torque. The Nissan LEAF offers more range than comparable electric cars costing a similar amount, starting at roughly $36,000. The interior features seating for 5-passengers and standard heated front and rear seats plus a heated steering wheel. The base model comes with a 5-inch display audio screen but the middle SV and SL trim get a larger 7-inch screen and this is the level that also gets Android Auto and Apple Car Play. The middle and upper trim also come with proPilot assist. Driving the all-new Nissan LEAF is rewarding thanks to instant torque, a low centre of gravity and a quite cabin. The biggest change is the e-peddle that provides one-foot driving to optimize the regenerative braking. This takes a while to learn but can produce greater battery range. The LEAF comes standard with LED headlamps and forward collision warning , plus autonomous braking.
Direct competitors to the all-new Nissan LEAF are the VW e-Golf, Hyundai IONIQ, Chevy Bolt, Chevy Volt, Ford Focus Electric and Kia SOUL.
