Today we explore the beautiful village of Alcochete, the place where Margarida used to live. Alcochete is around 20 minutes drive from Lisbon, peaceful and desirable with all the convenience of the proximity to Lisbon, and an outlet shopping village on it's outskirts. We'll explore this place too...

Alcochete is well known for sea salt production and for campinos (cowboys), due to the cattle raising and agriculture. They hold a yearly 'festa' where the bulls are herded through the town and the air is heavy with the aromas of barbecued sardines. We will film this spectacle, as it's a family atmosphere focused on great food and the celebration of Portuguese traditions, particularly the wearing of a 'Barrete verde'.
