Singapore Airlines is to lay off up to 2,400 staff as the COVID-19 pandemic batters the aviation industry. All three of its carriers will be affected, including SilkAir and Scoot. Mr Shukor Yusof, founder of Endau Analytics, shared his thoughts on the job cuts and whether travel demand could pick up in the coming months as more countries agree to travel bubbles.
