Supercharged Thunderstorm | Lightning | Hail | Waterspout | Timelapse

Caught this storm rolling through in the morning hours. The lightning was particularly interesting. We had just had a significant lightning storm a few nights prior, so I was surprised there was this much atmospheric energy built up in such a short time. The temperature was in the mid 60s. No daytime heating.

I just bought this car as a second vehicle last week, so when the hail showed up unexpectedly, I had to make a dash for some cover. For the record there was no damage to my vehicle. Thankfully.

It's been a very active storm season for Northern New York. I'm interested to see what the fall and winter hold.
