what is the Magnetic Float Level Switch and it's Working Principle ?

Float level switches are general liquid level switches, and are used to detect liquids.

The switches have been used in various locations where liquid levels must be detected.

It's main Parts.

Sealed float including a permanent magnet.

Non magnetic material stem.

Magnetic reed switch mounted within the stem.

What is the principle of operation ?

The float rises or lowers with the liquid level.

And the magnetic reed switch is fixed in a chosen point in the stem.

When the float will be near enough to the reed switch ,

The magnetic field of the permanent magnet will trigger the switch.
And a detection signal will be sent.

in some applications we can use one stem including two reed switches for high and low levels detection.

Or we can use two separate sensors for the same operation.
