Kyiv Under Massive Attack: Hypersonic Missiles Hit Ukraine’s Capital

Russia launched one of the largest combined attacks on Kyiv since the beginning of the full-scale war, using dozens of ballistic missiles, hypersonic Zircon missiles, cruise missiles, jet-powered drones, and attack UAVs.
According to Ukrainian officials, at least four people were killed and 25 injured, including a child. Explosions and damage were reported across nearly every district of the Ukrainian capital.
Among the most shocking consequences of the attack was a strike on the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, one of the most important Christian holy sites in Eastern Europe. The roof of the Dormition Cathedral caught fire after the attack, while nearby the Mystetskyi Arsenal museum complex also suffered a major blaze.
Russian strikes also hit the legendary Dovzhenko Film Studio, one of Ukraine’s oldest film studios. The attack destroyed Ukraine’s largest and oldest costume collection, dealing a devastating blow to the country’s cultural heritage.
