Klassiekerexpert Nico Aaldering gaat een bijzondere auto ophalen; een Opel Kapitän die gekoesterd wordt door twee hoogbejaarde broers. Dat is op zichzelf al een bijzonder verhaal, maar het blijkt de auto die hun vader ooit nieuw in de jaren '50 heeft gekocht! Wat volgt is een verhaal vol nostalgie met de bejaarde broers als 'kleine jongetjes' aan boord van de grote Opel, met Nico als "vaderlijk" type achter het stuur. "Mag" Nico de auto meenemen?
