Went out to the White Mountains at Pondicherry Wildlife Refuge during the winter and shot this beautiful view using the Tamron 18-400mm lens. Wanted to do an ultra wide / landscape test since many people say that it is a bit soft when it comes to the wide shots. I have a couple prime lenses but when it comes to nature and wildlife, this is my go to lens, if you are somewhere where you can't miss the shot by changing lenses, this lens will solve all photography style needs. Great for landscapes and ultra zoom shots. Here are some wide and landscape shots I took as picture and video examples so that you can see some sample images and clips to see if this lens is the right choice for you! I am very happy with it.

I was walking with spikes on ice so bare with me on the handheld shots which were stabilized.

I will be doing a video with zoom shots and video soon but for now enjoy this one. Most of the pics were taken between 18-60mm but theres a couple that go up to 200mm and there is one or two that were taken at 400mm. Also keep in mind that I took the photos and video shots with the Nikon D500, which is a crop sensor camera. With the right lens, it does great with landscapes.

This video was shot in 1080P 60fps.
