This video ranks the TOP 10 moments from My Hero Academia’s war arc. The 10 moments I’ve chosen for this video are my personal favourites.

10. The initial raid on the paranormal liberation front mansion. The PLF mansion raid had a ton of pro heroes and students going all out against the villains, with many characters putting in their best ever performance. Cementoss managed to singlehandedly split the front of the mansion in two, Tokoyami took down re-destro and Kaminari saved all frontline heroes from a powerful electric villain. We also saw the beginning of hawks’ betrayal of twice.

9. The reveal of Kurogiri’s true identity. Kurogiri being Shirakumo was a crazy plot twist, as Shirakumo used to be a student at UA alongside Aizawa and Present Mic. His supposed death is was turned Aizawa into the character he is today, so to find out that his body was harvested and turned into a villain that we’ve known since season 1 was a pretty big deal.

8. Mirko vs the high end nomu’s was a valiant effort from the rabbit hero to stop shigaraki from waking up. At some moments it looked like Mirko would be able to deal with the nomu, but then in other moments it seemed like she was ready to accept her death. Even after she finally made it to the tank shigaraki was being held in, it still wasn’t enough to stop the villain.

7. Deku unlocking Float quirk. Izuku Midoryia unlockED his 3rd quirk during the battle against shigaraki, after shigaraki was about to touch the ground and dust everyone with his decay quirk. Float was the perfect counter to Shigaraki’s decay and without it who knows what would’ve happened.

6. The death of twice. Jin Bubaigawara which was eliminated after hawks stabbed him in the back both literally and metaphorically. At the start of the war, Hawks betrayed twice without any hesitation, cornering the villain in a secluded room so that he couldn’t use his double quirk against the heroes. As we know Dabi eventually intervened, and the whole interaction became pretty enthralling to read.

5. Aizawa sacrificed his leg to avoid the quirk destroying bullet erasing his quirk. This was an amazing quick-witted decision from the professor, which Shigaraki admitted was pretty cool.

4. The surprise return of lemillion. Mirio’s return came out of nowhere but in a way that’s what made it so hype. Nobody was expecting him to return when he did, so him appearing on the battlefield almost felt like a gift from horikoshi. As we suspected, eri was the one who gave him his powers back, and lemillion only had his permeation quirk for one day before getting into a fight with high end nomus. Lemillion was a useful addition to the battlefield, and I guess you could say the return of mirio will partially make up for the losses that the heroes have suffered.

3. Bakugo saving Midoryia. As AFO went to attack midoryia with forced quirk activation, Bakugo moved without thinking and activates a new condensed form of explosion that is faster and stronger than anything he’s done before. These new explosions enable him to reach midoryia and push him out the way, but in the process, Bakugo himself gets SEVERELY injured by All For One.

2. The second best moment of the arc was when Shigaraki finally woke up. We got an epic dream sequence in which Shiggy walked towards AFO and inherited the All For One quirk, followed by Shigaraki waking up and immediately doing his thing.

1. Dabi’s identity reveal. Most of us suspected that Dabi was Touya Todoroki, but to have it confirmed was amazing.
