It started in Port St Louis, France by the Mediterranean and followed the Rhone,Saone, Petit-Saone, Canal des Vosges, Moselle, Mosel, Rhein, Rhein-Herne Canal, Dortmund-Ems Canal, Mittelland-canal and Elbe-Lubeck canal. Total locks: 176. Due to the deep keel we were not able to enter several interesting villages/cities underway, but this was not a vacation, it was pure transport of the yacht from its life in the Mediterranean waters for 12 years.
