About the artist
Holly Schroder grew up on the West Coast of the South Island in Hokitika. In 2015 she moved to Auckland to study Visual Arts at Auckland University of Technology. Holly works from her studio in Ponsonby where figures and faces intertwined together are the common subjects in her work. The fluid black lines pull the viewer into and around the image and keep you looking; continually revealing new faces and figures.
