Sissi castle in Gödöllö 🇭🇺| Last day in 2021

Few impressions from the Grassalkovich castle 🏰 in Gödöllö, which was the preferred residence of Sissi, Queen Elisabeth of Hungary and wife of Franz Joseph.
It is the biggest baroque palace in Hungary.🇭🇺
Count Antal Grassalkovich built this in 1730, who worked for Maria Theresia, Empress of Austria-Hungary. In the 19th century the hungarian nation offered this palace as a coronation gift to Franz Joseph and Sissi.

Weather🌤️: like in spring, 15 degrees Celsius, Sunny, after a week of cold foggy and rainy weather

Interesting stuff🌲:near the garden-pavillon, there is a 150 years old mammut tree / redwood, which was a small one at the end of the 1800s when Sissi lived and used this garden.
