Two companies, Virgin Galactic (Richard Branson) and Blue Origin (Jeff Bezos), are on the verge of completing the development of their suborbital space tourism vehicles. Both of them have been performing rigorous test flights and are nearly ready to start taking their paying customers to the edge of space.
