Peter Hitchens defends lockdown scepticism: ‘Everything has to be questioned’ | 11-Jan-21
Journalist Peter Hitchens has criticised the “attack on scepticism” borne out of the Covid-19 pandemic as he defended his doubts in the government’s lockdown response.
Speaking with talkRADIO’s Mike Graham, the Mail on Sunday columnist said: “If there’s no dissent, the government and the police have more power over what we do.
“No country without an opposition can be governed well because nobody is right all the time. Everything has to be questioned.”
