Looting in Acapulco after Hurricane Otis

Looting has begun in the Mexican city of Acapulco.

The looting comes after Hurricane Otis hit the resort town killing 39 people.

The category five storm flooded the city, severed communications and caused millions of dollars in damages.

Mexico’s President has promised to provide aid, urging people not to take advantage of the emergency by looting.

Despite the request, many residents claim they have turned to looting due to a shortage of supplies.
