Glass Blowing Demonstration: Richie Royal January 5th 2023 From Ringling College Of Art & Design

For the 14th annual glass exhibition at the Richard & Barbara Basch Gallery at Ringling College we brought in Richard Royal (Richie). He is a master glass blower and artist headquartered out of Seattle, WA. He agreed to create a piece specifically for the show and for the eventual auctioning off to raise money for the Ringling College Scholarship fund.
This is a long video, and there is a bit of background noice from the furnaces. But the audio is pretty clear. Please enjoy this unique presentation of a great artistic process.
