From Discrete to Continuous: Prime Harmonics up to 8192 (Microtonality ab absurdum)

This video presents a visualization of prime harmonics up to 8192, folded into a single octave. (At every power of 2 we return to the root)

Thus, the prime is octave-reduced and placed within the octave according to its harmonic position. Each round becomes denser, we see holes in the stream of primes instead of discrete points. Until our resolution displays it as a continuous line.

The work is concerned with scale, density, and what happens when a discrete structure is forced into a bounded space.
