There was a funny stereotype-phrase that "there was no S E X in USSR" which comes from 1986 TV-conference between Leningrad (USSR) and Boston (USA). American women asked Soviets if they have "advertisments connected to sex" like in America, And the Soviet woman answered: "We don't have sex and totally against it" (She meant we don't have sex in advertisments on TV and so on).
