A tale as old as time..

Do you remember the first time you saw Disney’s Beauty and the Beast? Was it the animated movie, the Broadway show or the most recent motion picture? I’ll bet you didn’t see it alone in either case. Beauty and the Beast is not just a story for children. It is a story for all of us to enjoy whether we are little children or big children.

At its essence Beauty and the Beast is a tale of societal outsiders looking for redemption through the magic of acceptance and love. Beastly or Beautiful we should look into the heart of a person to see their true worth, not be fooled by what we perceive them to be—judge lest you be judged—and we will all live happily ever after. I ask of you a little of this childlike simplicity

Our 2018 production of Beauty and the Beast started with a blank stage, a cast of 50 people, a group of collaborative theatre artists and stage technicians and a vision of how we could bring this story to life. Together, we experienced the wonder of transformation as we worked to bring this “tale as old as time” to the stage. We hope that you, too, are transformed by what you see, to dream a little harder, believe a little more and to recognize the beauty that is found within yourself and others.
