Meter to Main water line replacement (Pipe Splitting)

Today watch as Derek and I replace a leaking service line from a meter pit to the water main with new polypropylene pipe. We used a 1/4" cable and a homemade pipe splitter I fabricated to pull the new line "through" the old one. It ended up splitting about half and then just pulled the old line out. Didn't matter really as long as the new one came with it!
