Cuban National Zoo - Lion Breeding Facility

On a trip to Cuba with the Saint Louis Zoo, we visited the Cuban National Zoo (Parque Zoológico Nacional de Cuba) and got a behind the scenes tour of their lion breeding facility during feeding time.
Most of these lions’ time is spent outdoors in a huge open exhibit environment — a place just for the lions — where the zoo can do simulated safaris with enclosed buses.
What this video shows is a holding facility for feeding & observations and overnight housing for the animals.
