Putting together a large rental property is more than just fixing the mechanics, new flooring, painting etc. You also have to decorate it in a way that’s conducive to renting to the type of market that you’re going after... in our case, upscale. We’ve already hired a designer and antique dealer who is helping us choose some special antique pieces. But we still need to mix in some other stuff and of course we’re always on the hunt for new fixtures and supplies, even things as simple as light bulbs at a good price.
