DIY Gas Forge For Workshop

Hello folks! Today I will show you how to make simple gas forge and gas burner for your workshop.
For a long time I wanted to build a furnace, and the other day, my neighbor gave me fireclay bricks, 15 pieces. I remembered that I had metal squares. And I decided to make a gas furnace. I always need it in my workshop.

It took me less than two full days to build a gas furnace. Initially, I came up with a primitive construction. I welded the furnace frame from metal corners and reinforced it on four sides. I smeared all the joints and cracks with refractory paste. I chose the sizes for my blanks, which are slightly more than 40 cm. You can choose any shape and size of the oven.

To build the structure, I needed the following materials:
Fireclay bricks — 15x
Metal corner 30×30×3 mm — 4m
Profile pipe 60×60 mm — 1 m
2 mm thick sheet of iron (under the size of the frame) — 1x
Refractory paste (at least at 1200°C / 2192°F) — 2x
Round tube: 55 (17mm), 45 (15mm), 32 (14mm), 25 (30mm) mm
Metal tube 8 mm — 1x
Nozzle 0.8 mm — 1x
Sealant
Thick gas hose — 3m
Propane gas reducer with pressure gauge — 1x
Propane gas cylinder 4kg — 1x
Clamps — 2x
12V fan (connected via computer power supply) — 1x
Paper tape

At the moment I like how my horn works, I will also make a more convenient door to it. I hope you enjoy this DIY project. Thank you for attention!
