Pantry Organization: REALISTIC AND AFFORDABLE + TIPS TO SAVE MONEY

TIPS FOR SAVING MONEY ON YOUR PANTRY PROJECT:

1. Don't be afraid to go with the containers that are on clearance!
Clear acrylic containers and straw baskets are trending and the most expensive. I went with grey.

2. Don't be afraid to mix and match containers!
I found that when baskets were cheaper or on sale, fewer quantities were available. I almost passed on a great deal because there were not enough baskets in the sizes I needed, but I took a chance on using a variety of styles of containers and loved it!

3. Know the measurements for your space, and don't be afraid to take your tape measurer to the store.
If you are thrifting containers or shopping clearance, the containers may not have a label with the dimensions. Also, these type items may be "final sale" items, so you do not want to be stuck with containers that don't fit, and have to spend more to get it right.

4. Only get what you need!
If you have a minimalist mindset, not only with you successfully talk yourself out of extra, frivolous containers, but your results will be neater.

5. Don't be afraid to do a little at a time. I did not buy all my containers in one pay period, or even one year. You can make each shelf a mini project!
