Fur Trapping - How to set a Conibear Trap
To the untrained eye conibear, or bodygrip, traps can look quite odd. But they are very simple to set and quite effective at trapping furbearers. For larger conibears it does help to have a trap setter, and you should always use a safety gripper when using large conibear traps. Otherwise its straightforward to depress the springs, using the safety hooks to hold the springs in place, then squeeze the jaws together and put the dog notch on the trigger. Its easier to explain through video than words! To learn more about trapping visit www.coyotetrappingschool.com
