I used to believe that if I just memorized enough syntax or built enough pretty dashboards, the offers would roll in. But here is the hard truth I’ve learned—and that hiring managers scream about constantly: Analysis is not about the tool; it is about the question.

If you cannot explain why you are analyzing a dataset or what business problem you are solving, no amount of advanced Python or complex SQL queries will save you in an interview. Real analysis happens in your brain before your fingers ever touch the keyboard.
