Interview: Mitch Ryder "Devils and Blue Dresses"

So, in comparison to your buddy who says they've seen it all, Mitch Ryder has probably seen 100 times more than that guy. And after all these years he's memorialized many of those things he's seen in his recent award winning book, Devils In Blue Dresses: My Wild Ride As A Rock And Roll Legend. Ryder's discography at the end of the book shows that he's recorded over 30 albums, and the book's index of participants in Ryder's music career is lengthy, dishy, and dizzying.

Rock Book Show recently caught up with Ryder in New York City, where we chatted about the perils of finding fame at a young age, new insight into his relationship with Mellencamp, and his thoughts on why he and Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders should have made a baby!
