Bird Photography - Using Water To Attract Birds - In The Field Vlog #1

This week I photographed some beautiful birds at a watering hole on my property in North East Victoria, Australia. I am very fortunate to own a bush block that has regenerating habitat for wildlife including numerous species of birds, mammals and of course reptiles.

I have a few locations on the property where I provide water for the wildlife. It is very dry at the moment and we are in the middle of summer where it can often get over 40 degrees Celsius.

As a consequence I have a number of birds that come to drink. In this video I show how I setup a few branches for the birds to land on before drinking. This then allows me to sit in a blind and take photos of the birds.
