Repairing the Suzuki DF15 Outboard

In my last video my Reverse went out, so in this one I will attempt to repair it. I do not know what it was at the time so I researched it and read that the clutch dog was the most common problem. Starts with a buzz like grinding sound and a failure to engage. I pulled everything apart to discover that it was not what I had thought it was and traced it up to a issue with the linkage to the shifter on the outboard itself. Put it back together and re-filled it with oil and tested the reverse with the linkage repaired. Success! All back together and running once again.
