Let’s talk lemongrass and enjoy some tea as I process the harvest #permaculture #herbalism #benifit

Join me as I share my tea making process and talk about the natural benefits of lemongrass. We grew all of this lemongrass from one plant in the hot Oklahoma summer. It loves our humidity and is one of the easiest crops to plant, harvest, process and utilize. While it isn’t cold hardy it can be harvested and the roots dug up, divided, kept cozy in the greenhouse during the winter and replanted again after the last frost date in our zone 6B/7A.

Let us know what you think! Have you grown or used lemongrass? Have any special tips or tricks you’d like to share with our growing resilient community? Thanks so much for watching and I hope as I learn and share more about everyday herbalism that it is helpful in your own journey.

I am currently in the online herbal immersion program through Chestnut school of herbs thanks to a regional small business grant for farmers.
