Finishing Up A Missed Section of the AT, Trailside Zoo in NY

When I thru hiked the Appalachian Trail this year I missed a few small sections here and there either due to bad weather or simply because it was closed. This will be #2 of the 3 parts I need to hit, Trailside Zoo. The zoo was closed for most of the summer this year so it was time to close this portion out. Unfortunately there are always surprises but often you can find a good way to work around those surprises.
