Florida’s Express Car Washes: Datil Wash - St. Augustine

St. Augustine does not feature very many express car washes, this is one of only a few and the newest one of them all.

Datil Wash is an high-volume express wash and features AVW equipment, a full tunnel at that. AVW tunnels are not very common in the state. This wash features all electric drive AVW equipment, including a single arm top brush, two sets of Z-wraps, contouring side washers, freestanding side washers, and a mini mitter curtain. This location also features an AVW belt conveyor or easy loading. The tunnel does not feature windows and features black wall/ceiling panels for an impressive light show for the customer experience inside the vehicle. It should be noted that the tunnel originally featured two sets of AVW top brushes at the entrance of the wash, one of them was decommissioned for possible maintenance reasons (you may notice the empty top brush frame to the left of the wash tunnel entrance opposite to the working top brush).

This facility in addition also features ICS pay stations and a EuroVac central vacuum system. All chemicals are from Zep Vehicle Care. The Blazin’ package includes Armor All Extreme Shine Wax and Armor All Ceramic Seal.
