Yellowstone National Park 2020: First Timers Experience, Best Places, Tips, Top Things to Do, Guide

While Yellowstone National Park is widely known for its wildlife and geothermal features,While Yellowstone National Park is widely known for its wildlife and geothermal features, such as Old Faithful geyser, it’s most importantly known to be the first national park in the world.

This was our first time at Yellowstone! The entire park is absolutely massive and filled with amazing sights everywhere! We spend about 3 days and 3 nights over the weekend at the ends of July. We spent one night at Madison campground with another 2 at Grant. We actually booked on cancellations a couple of days before. Reservations online filled a couple months back.

Here are some of the best places and experiences we had:
1. Hiking Gibbon Falls
2. Grand Prismatic Spring
3. Yellowstone Lake Overlook Trail
4. Close up with Elk at Mammoth @ Dawn
5. Driving and hanging out with the Bison
6. Ice cream from the General Store @ Old Faithful Village
7. Morning Glory
8. West Thumb Geyser Basin
9. Grand Canyon of Yellowstone! EPIC
10. Abyss Pool
11. Excelsior Hot Spring

There is just so much to do.... Definitely need about 2 weeks to get a full immersion and experience at Yellowstone. 3 days was just a tiny taste.

Yes, I spelt subscribe wrong at the end! HAHA
