Jordan Peterson v Michael Dyson - Why Race was Used

Jordan Peterson and Michael Dyson were on opposite sides of a debate (The Munk Debate - link below), where Michael Eric Dyson brought up Jordan Peterson's race while insulting him.

At a later point in the debate, this was revisited by Michael Dyson. He attempted to explain his reasoning for bringing up race, and I have quoted him verbatim in order to try and understand his justification.
