solo female travel to romania | BUCHAREST

Before covid turned the world upside down, I quit my job to travel the world. In October 2019, I made it to the capital of Romania, Bucharest. It was a beautiful city, and I spent most of my time in the Old Town of Bucharest. The city really reminded me of my university exchange in Budapest, Hungary, with the cheap food, cheap beer and old communist relics.

During my time in Bucharest, I ate a lot traditional Romanian food, went to the largest thermal spa in Europe (Therme Bucharest), went to the famous Baru' Cu Bere and went on a walking tour to learn about the rich history of Bucharest.
