Janet wakes up every day grateful for the care she received from the Summa Health urology team

Janet Sears - I'm a bladder cancer survivor and I was having complications from a previous surgery and I knew something was terribly wrong. So I did my research and sought out the urology department at Summa Health. Dr. Boes determined immediately that my situation was very serious and I needed to have a colon resection and a new urinary diversion put in.

Dr. Boes and Dr. Ma performed the surgery. They saved my life in my eyes. The level of care from them before, during, and after was amazing. Dr. Boes, she has been my savior. She really changed my life. She's pretty spectacular. I wish she were sitting here so I could tell her that, but I have. Life is so much better. Just wake up every day so thankful and grateful. It's a testament to Dr. Boes. And why I'm here, sitting here today.
