HOW I STOPPED BLEACHING: MY SKIN BLEACHING STORY INSPIRED BY JACKIE AINA

Hi everyone, thanks for stopping to watch this video. In this video I will be sharing my skin bleaching story, how I stopped bleaching and empowering women of colour who are insecure of their natural complexion.

Skin bleaching is commonly used by the African and Asian cultures as a result of colonisation and the idea that the lighter skinned complexions are thought to be more attractive. Pressures from the main stream media and social peers really influence this too. I hope this video will really encourage YOU, to know that your natural complexion is BEAUTIFUL!!

I actually filmed this video about 2 weeks ago, but editing and family time got in the way, baring in mind i'm still trying to find my way in this youtube community!! I was totally inspired by Jackie Aina and felt I needed to share my testimony now!! It is not easy at all sharing personal issues like this, but I know it's part of the reason God wanted me to start a youtube channel. Check out Jackie Aina and Dimma Umeh's video on this topic, as I am in total agreement and they are basically echoing my thoughts!!
