Black Italians & Digital Culture in Contemporary Italy

The Department of World Languages and Cultures hosted a virtual presentation on Zoom of the documentary "Black Italians and Digital Culture in Contemporary Italy". Filmmaker Fred Kuwornu presented his multimedia lecture on young Black Italian artists and activists who have harnessed the power of both traditional cultural forms and newer digital platforms to shape the conversation on racism, identity, and citizenship.
