Cheap eBay Flush Mount Hood Latch Review and Install on Exomotive Exocet - Knock Off Aerocatch Latch

Probably would not recommend these hood latches for people looking to race their car on the track. Especially if you mount these latches to a vehicle with a regular hood that could flip up and hit the car, causing damage and a dangerous situation to you and nearby drivers.

These hood latches are probably not reliable and we would highly recommend going with GENUINE Aerocatch Flush Mount Hood Latches on your performance vehicle.

In this case of our exocet, it it not safety critical to have the highest quality hood latches because there are four bolts in the front of the vehicle that fasten the hood to the vehicle. The hood is not at risk of flipping up and hitting the driver or flying off into the sky, potentially hitting another vehicle.

It is obvious that these $20 eBay hood latches are cheaply made and do not offer the same protection as high quality latches, however, if you do not plan to race your vehicle and you prefer the look of these latches over other styled hood fasteners, perhaps for car shows or driving on the street, these will probably be OK.
