The Panther Creek Hammock is our new favorite piece of backpacking gear. After testing this lightweight backpacking hammock over multiple camping trips, we would (without a doubt) say this is the comfiest night's sleep in the backcountry we've ever had. This Panther Creek Hammock is definitely one of the best backpacking hammocks in 2021. Weighing in at 4 pounds, it's a great lightweight option.

The integrated bug net and lay flat system make this backpacking hammock feel like you are sleeping on a cot in a tent. It's not claustrophobic like other hammocks that cocoon you when you are sleeping. There are two, large velcro pockets inside both ends of the hammock, perfect for storing extra clothes or your phone. Two gear hooks are situated on the ridgeline, providing a great place to hang your headlamp. On the outside of the hammock, four gear hooks are on each end of the hammock. The two-zipper system makes it extremely easy to open and close the bug net door when inside.
