My home stereo speaker system based on JBL car speakers, these things sound awesome, and virtually indestructible. (provided that the user has common sense) They have a power handling of 150 watts RMS each with an efficiency of 90dB per watt, I know because I had them connected to my stepfathers Kenwood 350 watt home amplifier one day, and the power meters peaked up to 220 watt where these things finally began to rattle, and it was not just these speakers that rattled, Real crankers for something bookshelf size. I had a DJ borrow these a few times for his backyard events (until he bought his own, something bigger), which these worked well as party fillers using a mediocre 50 watt amp. You can also hear some evidence of high fidelity in the video, when the microphone stops distorting when the camera moves away, but not the best example. Playing a Piano soundtrack sounds so real, like the player is actually in the room.
