How Much Firewood Does It Take To Survive Winter?
For me, it was paramount that I figure out how much wood I would need to get through the winter. Once I had that, I knew that at least for the immediate future I would be able to source all the lumber I need from my own property. If you can't produce enough from your own land, where will it come from and where and how will you store it are the next questions that you need to answer next.
