Free Sand For PMAY Beneficiaries 🏠 | PM Modi’s Odisha Visit on June 20 | SJTA’s Rath Yatra SOP Out

Odisha Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari has announced free sand distribution for PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) beneficiaries — with two tractor loads to ease house construction costs. A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for sand transport will be issued soon.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Odisha on June 20, marking one year of the BJP government in the state. The event will highlight key achievements and the strengthening of Centre–State cooperation.

Meanwhile, the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has released a new SOP and a revised price list for Rath Yatra chariot components. Notably, chariot wheels may cost up to ₹3 lakh, ensuring transparency and preservation of tradition.
