Does protective styling damage the hair? Yes and no! There is not one straight answer as there are so many factors to consider when answering this question. I previously have damaged my natural hair from protective styling, however, now I figured out what I was doing wrong, I've amassed a lot of growth in a short space of time from protective styles?
