‘Being a Mother of Popstars is Like Living in a Tornado’ Shares Jane Carter

Jane Carter, the mother to popstars Nick and Aaron Carter, joins the show and shares that she first started drinking in high school. At that point, it was just a few shots a day. She admits that she would buy bottles and hide them. Her drinking got worse when it was discovered that her husband was cheating on her because she says she realized her career was gone, her family was gone, and she didn’t care if she lived or died. Jane shares that she lost Nick in her life because she said mean things about his wife when she was drunk. She truly doesn’t know if she can be happy without alcohol in her life.
