1989 PEUGEOT 205 GTI 2.0 16V

A superb example of the best 1980s hot hatch but made even better.
This amazing car was modified in 2014 /2016 using a 2 litre Peugeot 16 valve engine with a custom five-speed gearbox and the following spec:

Lightened billet flywheel and upgraded clutch
Oil cooler /Nissans radiator
Gaz adjustable coil-over suspension
Upgraded disc and callipers Inc Goodridge braided lines
6 point OMP roll cage
Polycarbonate quarter windows
Sparco leather seats
Full race harness
Strut brace
Michelin sport pilots
There are invoices around £5000 alone for some of the work carried out at Peugeot specialists.
With just 800 kg and nearly 170bhp, this pocket rocket flies and sounds great too
Without a doubt the best driving 205 I have sold and so useable with 98db exhaust and a ride that is track-ready but not at all harsh on the road.
