I wanna share with you guys my first-hand video in the Changing of the Guards at Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall in Taipei Taiwan. It was thrilling and stunning to watch.It was really silent during the ceremony but i added a music background to this video. Hope you like it.

CHANGING OF THE GUARD @ CHIANG KAI-SHEK MEMORIAL HALL

A ceremony during which the soldiers or other officials guarding a major government building or state residence, like for example here in Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall, are replaced by a new shift.

The changing of the guards that takes place at Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is the most popular stops for tours of the city, so you can expect to see large crowds. Here at Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial, it’s a little quieter but just as impressive. The change takes place every day from 9am to 5pm on the hour.

During the exhibition or the changing of the guards the hall is fenced off and the only sound that can be heard is the synchronized clicking of the soldier's boots entering the hall. They March to a silent beat.

The new guards and the remaining perform a series of rifles movements before they change their place. After the ceremony is finished, the New guards on the platform will stand motionless until the next full hour.The Changing of the Guard exhibition lasts for 15 minutes.
