Pull Pin Colored Smoke Bomb & Trip wire

In this video we take a look at how to make a cheap colored smoke bomb and a trip wire alarm, all made possible by the the most simple pull ring ignitor I could design.

The pull ring detonator is a very simple deliberately, the easier it is, the less there is to go wrong.

Rather than make the coloured smoke bomb from scratch, it's often faster, easier, cheaper, and safer to buy them online, so I did. You can find links to the ones I used for my project in the links below...

This could be a cheap alternative to airsoft smoke grenades or as a tripwire alarm. It may be useful for marking locations, although it would depend on the quality and amount of the smoke pellets purchased. Never set these off in flammable locations like dry woodland or grass.
