Krafla and the Magical Highland Volcanic Systems in Iceland

Enjoy Iceland's strangest volcano and fracture zone but I edited this clip from a TV documentary about the north-east regions Iceland. The documentary is narrated by Lára Ómarsdóttir who's father is Ómar Ragnarsson, a well known and highly respected reporter, conservationists, pilot and a filmmaker.

Ómar is not a geologist but he has shot some the most remarkable volcano footage of Iceland for decades so his stories and perspective is of great value for all whom share my interest in the constant creation of Iceland. The complete documentary series is called Ferðastiklur, but sadly not available with English subtitles.

Since it was made by the national TV and free to watch online I decided to add this to my collection for the many geology enthusiast all around the world because the information you are about to see ate totally unique.
